This is where they lose their natural round formation and can be highly hazardous if you only happen to discover it on the ride back home. By overinflating you ensure the tyres can sit for longer before they become flat enough for these spots to develop.

This should be a regular practice for you, but remember to clean both the exterior and interior of the car before putting it in storage. If you’re planning to store your vehicle over the long term, this may not make sense, but droplets and stains that sit for ages can lead to permanent deterioration.

For any vintage car owner, nothing’s worse than coming back to find that a whole pest colony has taken up residence. All windows need to be closed completely and doors should be properly shut to prevent them from gaining access. Remember to remove any food and other items that could be attractive to these pests too.
